The allegations have been circulating widely on social media, with Kendra Parker (reportedly the mayor's wife) posting confirmation of the allegations. Multiple social media posts have gone viral showing the details.
"Meet 24 year old 'STRIPPER' Sade Bass! Bless Parker you are a real politician now! Paid $3600 for him and 4 mayors to go back in a champagne room at the strip club... ONE OF THOSE MAYORS IS MARRIED."
Guerrilla Publishing OK reported: "We can only assume the strip club fund took a serious hit once we started shining a light on how city resources were being spent."
Separately, reports indicate Parker held a "secret phone search" inside a closed city council meeting, with Kyla Jones helping to lead the effort.
On April 22, 2026, Guerrilla Publishing OK announced they filed a criminal complaint with the Miami Police Department against Mayor Bless Parker amid ongoing corruption concerns.
"Miami, Oklahoma — we just filed it. CRIMINAL COMPLAINT. Half of the city of Miami's 'elected' officials are under investigation for corruption. The FBI is investigating the corrupt mayor."
The complaint includes recorded audio documentation of direct personal communications between the complainant and Mayor Bless Parker.
Additionally, Robert Walkup has emerged as a candidate promising "to root out corruption like Bless Parker, to obliterate the GRDA, to return the power to the people."
Guerrilla Publishing also reported that NBC Joplin (KSNF) reporter Sheila Stogsdill is allegedly friends with Bless Parker, raising conflict-of-interest concerns about local media coverage.
At a Miami city council meeting, former attorney Ron Durbin used vulgar language and threats to target Mayor Bless Parker, while the council attempted to conduct business.
Durbin repeatedly addressed Miami Mayor Bless Parker before and after the two-hour meeting and argued with the mayor's supporters while the council was in session.
The incident has drawn national attention, being picked up by Yahoo News, AOL, and multiple outlets.

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld a $33 million verdict against Ottawa County in the wrongful death of Terral Ellis Jr., a 26-year-old father who died of sepsis and pneumonia on October 22, 2015, while in custody at the Ottawa County Jail.

The county could request the federal court spread the judgment over 10 years, requiring approximately $5 million in annual payments — money that falls directly on the backs of Ottawa County taxpayers.
Defendants in the lawsuit included Ottawa County, its sheriff, former sheriff, jail staff, and former nurse.
