[02:58] Ordnances, so these this is yet another video game
[03:04] Arcade type

[05:26] community supporting it, right?
[05:27] So our folks did a great job putting it together,
[05:31] but then we didn't know what was gonna happen,
[05:34] and I really, I was blown away.
[05:36] I said it at the thing.
[05:38] I'm blown away by how many people came out,
[05:40] supported it, and it just motivates me
[05:42] to want to do it bigger and better next year.
[05:48] So I'm gonna follow into what they said.
[05:50] The ball drop, I appreciate the same way so much
[05:55] because we come up with some wild ideas sometimes,
[05:59] and you guys pull them off, you know,
[06:01] we come up with the idea and decide we're gonna do something
[06:04] and whether it's gonna work or not,
[06:06] we don't know sometimes, but you guys always make it work.
[06:09] And I greatly appreciate that.
[06:11] You guys put the effort in, the work in,
[06:13] and you're the reason that happens.
[06:17] But I think, Trenta sent me a message earlier today
[06:21] that with the place where it showed 848 people
[06:24] in attendance, not counting kids, of course,
[06:27] that didn't have cell phones.
[06:29] So, you know, we may have been close to 1,000 people there.
[06:33] So I'm gonna tell a little story, too,
[06:34] that I heard from that event,
[06:36] and I've come from our city judge, Chuck Chestnut,
[06:39] had lunch with him Friday.
[06:40] He said, let me tell you a funny story.
[06:42] He said, I got home.
[06:43] He said, I told my wife, look at this,
[06:46] they're having a ball drop downtown,
[06:48] we should go to this.
[06:49] She said, yeah, let's go, let's do that.
[06:51] And he went off, we're away, we'll go.
[06:54] He said, so next morning, he woke up,
[06:56] and he fell asleep before midnight,
[06:58] and he woke up next morning and pulled up his phone
[07:00] and saw all the pictures and videos
[07:02] that everybody had taken.
[07:05] And he was like, wow, that was amazing.
[07:06] There's a lot of people there,
[07:07] so he went to his wife and said, look at this.
[07:09] They had a great turnout down there.
[07:10] And she said, yeah, we did.
[07:14] I guess he went in, and he was asleep,
[07:16] and he went without him, okay?
[07:18] But I heard a lot from families
[07:21] that it was great to have a family in the event,
[07:24] because nobody around here has anything like what we did.
[07:29] And of course, we couldn't have pulled it off
[07:30] without the city employees, Colby Allen,
[07:32] now in size studios, Justin with Pyro Brothers,
[07:37] simplicity truck, smash burger,
[07:39] or smash and dash, Clark smash and dash was there,
[07:43] but really it was a great event.
[07:45] We've got a lot of publicity from the job
[07:47] and news out of it.
[07:50] And I even saw people from the job
[07:51] with most of the, they're coming next year,
[07:53] because there's nothing like what we did
[07:55] anywhere else around here.
[07:56] So from minor standing, this was the only ball drop
[08:00] in the whole state of Oklahoma.
[08:02] So, a cool deal, a cool thing to hang your hat on.
[08:07] And I don't have anything else,
[08:08] so go to city manager communications.
[08:10] I just have one thing, you know,
[08:12] the staff has gotten some questions
[08:13] as read been stolen, as read disappeared.
[08:16] So, this is read down in front of anybody watching,
[08:19] is wondering who that is, this is read from the library.
[08:21] So, here, but let's you like to talk about that idea.
[08:26] Let's do it on it.
[08:27] All right, so we'll leave read a little backstory
[08:30] on the read here real quick.
[08:32] The bronze sculpture, once upon a time,
[08:35] affectionately referred to as read by the minor club
[08:38] library staff was created by OSU graduate,
[08:41] Michelle Riley, from the lock of hair on his forehead
[08:45] to the laces on his shoes to the expression on his face.
[08:49] The attention to detail is amazing.
[08:51] Ms. Riley was granted a cool ride scholarship
[08:53] for Tracking Field, but after an injury sideline her,
[08:56] she focused her energy into her other passion,
[08:59] which was art.
[09:00] In 1992, she opened a studio in gallery
[09:02] in the colon theater, beautiful complex,
[09:05] known for capturing the emotional spirit of her subject.
[09:08] She has had numerous commissions for portraits,
[09:11] or portrayals, excuse me, of notable Americans
[09:14] like Maya, Angelou, thank, Angelou, Angelou, Angelou.
[09:18] Angelou, and Amelia Earhart.
[09:21] Her work has been featured at the Smithsonian,
[09:23] Ms. Riley now resides in Nevada, so that's where
[09:27] we came from.
[09:28] And the reason that read is not currently set
[09:32] in front of the library, he's been stolen several times.
[09:37] And I think this last time he was found
[09:40] at a scrap yard, somebody selling for scrap, is that all right?
[09:44] The apartment here is one pound.
[09:46] Oh, okay.
[09:48] I guess the first time he was stolen,
[09:49] he was found in a scrap yard in Missouri.
[09:52] And then this last time, he was found
[09:54] over north of town here or north of town
[09:56] in my department.
[09:58] And so there's new plans for read.
[10:02] He's probably going to end up back at the library, sounds like,
[10:05] that he'll be much more safe and secure.
[10:07] With the new fault cameras.
[10:09] With...
[10:10] Yeah, I have one of his pockets.
[10:12] Exactly.
[10:15] All right, number nine, the German...
[10:17] Motion.
[10:19] It's...
[10:20] Dumple.
[10:21] Burns, aye.
[10:22] We stand.
[10:23] Roger.
[10:24] Aye.
