[03:41] I was always good to be here.
[03:43] Just a few things I want to update you on.
[03:45] We've got a lot that we're working on right now.
[03:48] Fortunately not everything we can talk about at this point in time,
[03:51] but there are some exciting things in the work.
[03:53] I know Tyler and Mayor Parker,
[03:56] who represent the city on our board.
[03:58] There are a lot of the things that we're doing on.
[04:00] Working on, but a couple of things before I do that,
[04:02] I just want to talk a little bit about why we did the
[04:04] proclamations tonight.
[04:06] So every year, the River Bottom Sportsman,
[04:08] along with the Mid-American Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America,
[04:11] the host, what we call the Great Dear Hot.
[04:13] It's an annual outdoor recreational activity for disabled,
[04:17] paralyzed veterans, and local veteran.
[04:20] And so we're very excited about the hunters
[04:22] that we have participating this year,
[04:24] including our very own council member, Kyle Jones.
[04:27] We'll be participating this year.
[04:29] We're very excited about that.
[04:30] I gave each one of you a schedule of events,
[04:33] so that you know what's going on.
[04:35] We do want to remind you that all of the meals
[04:38] are open to the public.
[04:40] You're welcome to come and join us,
[04:42] especially on Friday.
[04:43] That's the big fish fry and everything else we do on that Friday.
[04:47] But the hunt this year runs October 29th through November 1st.
[04:52] The hunters arrive on the 29th.
[04:54] The opening ceremony is on the 9 a.m.
[04:58] A Commerce High School gymnasium on the 30th.
[05:01] And then the activities will run, like I said, through Saturday.
[05:07] And if we need it, we leave Sunday open.
[05:09] If we still have some veterans who are participating
[05:12] that happen to harvest it yet,
[05:14] we do have that one extra day to make that happen.
[05:16] But we feel pretty confident.
[05:18] We've got a good field general out there this year.
[05:21] Jody Francisco runs the field operations.
[05:23] We're excited about the spots that we have set up.
[05:26] We anticipate everyone harvesting early.
[05:29] We actually added an extra hunt this year.
[05:31] So normally every veteran used to make four hunts.
[05:35] They do a morning and afternoon on Friday and Saturday.
[05:39] We actually added an extra one on Thursday afternoon.
[05:42] So you have five opportunities this year and a set of four.
[05:45] So we're pretty excited about that.
[05:47] We're also pretty excited that Thursday night.
[05:50] All of this by the way takes place at Jack's house on the dial room.
[05:54] We'll form in the barn.
[05:56] Thursday night October 30th.
[05:59] We're going to be ready.
