03:41I was always good to be here.
03:43Just a few things I want to update you on.
03:45We've got a lot that we're working on right now.
03:48Fortunately not everything we can talk about at this point in time,
03:51but there are some exciting things in the work.
03:53I know Tyler and Mayor Parker,
03:56who represent the city on our board.
03:58There are a lot of the things that we're doing on.
04:00Working on, but a couple of things before I do that,
04:02I just want to talk a little bit about why we did the
04:04proclamations tonight.
04:06So every year, the River Bottom Sportsman,
04:08along with the Mid-American Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America,
04:11the host, what we call the Great Dear Hot.
04:13It's an annual outdoor recreational activity for disabled,
04:17paralyzed veterans, and local veteran.
04:20And so we're very excited about the hunters
04:22that we have participating this year,
04:24including our very own council member, Kyle Jones.
04:27We'll be participating this year.
04:29We're very excited about that.
04:30I gave each one of you a schedule of events,
04:33so that you know what's going on.
04:35We do want to remind you that all of the meals
04:38are open to the public.
04:40You're welcome to come and join us,
04:42especially on Friday.
04:43That's the big fish fry and everything else we do on that Friday.
04:47But the hunt this year runs October 29th through November 1st.
04:52The hunters arrive on the 29th.
04:54The opening ceremony is on the 9 a.m.
04:58A Commerce High School gymnasium on the 30th.
05:01And then the activities will run, like I said, through Saturday.
05:07And if we need it, we leave Sunday open.
05:09If we still have some veterans who are participating
05:12that happen to harvest it yet,
05:14we do have that one extra day to make that happen.
05:16But we feel pretty confident.
05:18We've got a good field general out there this year.
05:21Jody Francisco runs the field operations.
05:23We're excited about the spots that we have set up.
05:26We anticipate everyone harvesting early.
05:29We actually added an extra hunt this year.
05:31So normally every veteran used to make four hunts.
05:35They do a morning and afternoon on Friday and Saturday.
05:39We actually added an extra one on Thursday afternoon.
05:42So you have five opportunities this year and a set of four.
05:45So we're pretty excited about that.
05:47We're also pretty excited that Thursday night.
05:50All of this by the way takes place at Jack's house on the dial room.
05:54We'll form in the barn.
05:56Thursday night October 30th.
05:59We're going to be ready.
