We're transferring money The CDB had some personnel changes They've done an amendment back in November It has no longer needed so I'm reversing it Sports are using up Some carryover to complete payment To put into boys' rules club Run This summer record program And then this cemetery Got Grant Their receiving An expending for $700 Thank you Hi Hi Hi Seven The Board of the Opposition And Monopolitan Homeless Rick Aldrich Good evening I appreciate Yeah, but it's an opportunity to Come in and talk about our Our streets citizen population Bear with me Like To term homeless Because they do have a home It happens be on A street That is why I call them Street citizens So if you bear With Me If You don't use The Term Homeless Please I do have a couple guests that Going to want them Come up and speak here in just a minute But Most people are Here In the room No way And Know what i Do If you don't Who Guess That's possible We Have been working very hard With our streets It is population now for A few years As You know any time we get Called Whether Or Stream Out Weather Im Line The Phone Bug In The Mer For A Building To Set Up A Shelter To Get People Off the Streets Either because it is too cold or Too hot And we have been blessed Didn't mean that That way But We Have Been Blessed Um Then I Were able to get a building here In there Not The Last One Was Probably Uh not Best Facility Use Because of Location But It actually turned out Be Best facility Used Because At A location Ah It brought To light An awful lot Of things being on Main Street Um And With That Before I Going For The Like Then To Do Chris Real quick Um Chris If You Want to Come Up and Say We Just Say If Be Appreciate it Chris Neem New Huser Uh Got a Little Street Manage Drag Around And Pretty Top with the Streets This Is up Down Yeah He's in streets In Into Horse Things uh Been Doing It for Ten Of Draw Use Take Out To Hold Man And How Apart Years Go Never My While A Stream I imagine, it'd be the next week of the line on homeless list. And but i don't think The city really puts an up into to We Really need some place for people To go there's Six six People out There That needs a Place Go we You Need Some kind Of Shelter It Every day Im seeing more and More In More People coming in At I'm Seeing 16-18 20 years And I have several people in here that are out seeing you've stopped and passed it a lot of things. It seems like when i need something for somebody at home to treat, or break the whole frame... ...and what do we appreciate if anybody has helped us? There is an aid facility as mayor knows As other people on this room know We're working very hard To find right location In their own kind of facility We don't want, I guess i'll change the terminology a little bit ...we dont wanna shelter so to speak And we're not going be giving handouts and just gonna talk about the last shelter that was at Main Street Because each of us have one done Some amazing stories come out Frank & Eye Please know what he turned him in nice He's legit We probably go over and above to take care of our folks on the street we worked 24-36, 48 hours at a clip in that shelter And all those people who are going out there In let them know if they're allowed their car There's a stigma with people living on the street You'll agree and you will disagree But alot of times, if they see people in their streets They're drug addict Oh there are still mental health problems And those were first things that pop into People's heads The old dad or scrim-dad Very degraded And i would challenge anybody in here Take a week and step into their shoes See what it's like The shelter that we set up on Main Street As I said probably not the most ideal location but was an idea A lot of people got noticed alot-of People stopped wanting to know What were doing, how are you're doin' Lotta people? I didn't realize that there's so many people on
