[00:03] Let's pray, Father God, we love you, God, we're so grateful for this community that you
[00:09] place us in. God, I'm thankful for the leadership that we have and I just pray for your peace
[00:15] and your prosperity for all of us. God, you place these people in their position to lead us well
[00:20] and God, I just pray that you remind them of that but also give them the courage and confidence
[00:26] that they need to make good decisions and that'd be for the betterment of all of us. God,
[00:30] we just pray that mine was a great place to grow up, raise a family and to retire in all those
[00:37] things and Father, you can do that for us. We love you, we pray that we become more like Jesus
[00:42] every day. It's in His name we pray. Amen. Amen. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States
[00:49] of America and to the Republic for which it spans one nation under God in the visible
[00:57] with liberty and justice for all of us. For a public embedment, it's good that personal appearances
[01:13] five points list. Most to a proof. Second, he stepped like Barnes. I've Joins, I don't know.
[01:24] Six minutes from the March 25th, 2025, regular meeting.
[01:27] Much to proof. Second, he stepped like Barnes, I've Joins, I don't know. Hi. Parker.
[01:37] I'm seven, budget, budget, budget, amendment 25-20.
[01:45] So, you'll see three minutes tonight. This is the first one. This essentially, it moves money
[01:51] to cover an under-budgeted OWRB loan payment. The information came in light. It was not budgeted.
[01:58] So, second. Thanks. Thank you, Jen. All right. Barnes, I'm Darryle Cole. Hi. Parker.
[02:19] Hey, the discussion about the possible action regarding amendment.
[02:23] C-23-0-8C with B-3 construction.
[02:31] And C-Z-23-0-8C with Stel and Brown Reynolds.
[02:35] So, these are the tipping and transport fees for some of the ways the original contracts were lit in between
[02:45] the city of Miami and the companies. So, it's actually between MSUA and the companies.
[02:52] So, we are drafted in amendment and I believe the companies have agreed to it.
[03:00] the companies of R&D agree to it. It's just changing the name to MSU on the contract or the parties.
[03:18] Hi, Parker.
[03:20] Now in contract amendments with Republic Services, also known as BFI,
[03:25] Voice Services, C-23-080,
[03:28] Services C-23-280 and B-3 construction C-23-080.
[03:36] This will be the last year that we renew on the contract that was made a couple of years ago.
[03:42] This will go through April 30th, the 2026.
[03:47] Stella, environmental who halls all of the solid waste,
[03:51] they deliberate to BFI and what we call Republic Services.
[03:57] They were trying to increase it by 5.2%.
[04:01] They ended up settling with a 3% increase.
[04:05] We want to continue with the M-right now.
[04:10] Back when they won the bid, they won, and they said it's about 95 cents less per ton.
[04:20] We just to give you an idea of this year, we're at 12,615 tons,
[04:26] 5 March from July 1 through March 1.
[04:32] We hall a lot of solid waste, but the 3% increase will only increase by 79 cents.
[04:40] We're getting back up to where we close to about where we broke in before we got the contract.
[04:46] B-3 construction, that's where we take our demolition material and the price will stay the same with them.
[04:55] We actually haven't used them this year because we're not as heavy into knocking down homes
[05:01] and things like that.
[05:03] So if you want to, they know with them.
[05:08] BFI services, they ask for a 4.44% increase.
[05:14] They settle for a 3% as well.
[05:18] It's actually a 69-cent cost increase per ton.
[05:23] Back when we, before we got the contract going, they were at 451 per ton.
[05:30] And they ended up dropping that to 25-20 when we got the contract going a couple of years ago.
[05:37] So it's the 69-cent increase.
[05:41] It still makes it a great savings compared to what we've won.
[05:47] So we recommend renewing all of these contracts as the current market cost has increased,
[05:55] but it's still better to take this and go back out to bed again.
[06:00] and we will have to at the end of this one here.
[06:07] Tell them we're in budget for this every year.
[06:09] 1.1 million.
[06:11] I know it's right there.
[06:16] It says 1.1 million.
[06:17] I don't check with Terry.
[06:18] What is 1.1 million?
[06:19] So this looks like it's going to take us up to 1.3.
[06:22] So we're going to have to do budget amendments to take care of the overageer.
[06:25] Hopefully we will be able to stay in that 1.1.
[06:29] I'm going to make it next year.
[06:30] We're working on next year's budget right now.
[06:32] So we budgeted more money in our tipping fees to kind of for this.
[06:35] So you said it was we're at 12,000.
[06:38] 12,615 tons right now.
[06:44] So we take 50,000 a year.
[06:48] Is that pretty good?
[06:49] We take what?
[06:50] 22 tons, 22,000 tons.
[06:52] Things are high.
[06:53] That are lower.
[06:54] Yeah.
[06:55] Really.
[06:55] So is the reason that we took more in the...
[06:59] Because if you do the math in your extrapolate,
[07:02] we're in the first quarter and we've taken 12,000 tons already.
[07:05] That's 50,000 tons for the year.
[07:14] You're saying the first quarter.
[07:16] That's what he said.
[07:18] You said so far this year up to March.
[07:20] We've hauled 12,600 tons.
[07:22] It's cool.
[07:23] No, that's July.
[07:24] Yeah.
[07:25] Oh, yeah.
[07:26] My bet.
[07:28] So you're saying the...
[07:30] I understand your saying now.
[07:31] That's my math, not math, because I'm in different fiscal quarters in my...
[07:37] Right.
[07:38] I'm going to make some.
[07:39] Thank you.
[07:49] What's your number?
[07:51] Second.
[07:53] Joe's five.
[07:55] Aaron Ryan.
[07:56] Barnes.
[07:59] Joe's five.
[08:00] Parker.
[08:01] She's having a problem.
[08:02] Yeah.
[08:03] I'm going to do this.
[08:04] If any of which is...
[08:05] What's your goodness?
[08:06] Supposing this again?
[08:07] No, I'm testing.
[08:13] You know what?
[08:14] Well done.
[08:17] Motion.
[08:18] Second.
[08:22] Who's seconded?
[08:24] Yeah.
[08:25] I'll do it.
[08:26] Joe's five.
[08:29] Parker.
