00:03Let's pray, Father God, we love you, God, we're so grateful for this community that you
00:09place us in. God, I'm thankful for the leadership that we have and I just pray for your peace
00:15and your prosperity for all of us. God, you place these people in their position to lead us well
00:20and God, I just pray that you remind them of that but also give them the courage and confidence
00:26that they need to make good decisions and that'd be for the betterment of all of us. God,
00:30we just pray that mine was a great place to grow up, raise a family and to retire in all those
00:37things and Father, you can do that for us. We love you, we pray that we become more like Jesus
00:42every day. It's in His name we pray. Amen. Amen. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States
00:49of America and to the Republic for which it spans one nation under God in the visible
00:57with liberty and justice for all of us. For a public embedment, it's good that personal appearances
01:13five points list. Most to a proof. Second, he stepped like Barnes. I've Joins, I don't know.
01:24Six minutes from the March 25th, 2025, regular meeting.
01:27Much to proof. Second, he stepped like Barnes, I've Joins, I don't know. Hi. Parker.
01:37I'm seven, budget, budget, budget, amendment 25-20.
01:45So, you'll see three minutes tonight. This is the first one. This essentially, it moves money
01:51to cover an under-budgeted OWRB loan payment. The information came in light. It was not budgeted.
01:58So, second. Thanks. Thank you, Jen. All right. Barnes, I'm Darryle Cole. Hi. Parker.
02:19Hey, the discussion about the possible action regarding amendment.
02:23C-23-0-8C with B-3 construction.
02:31And C-Z-23-0-8C with Stel and Brown Reynolds.
02:35So, these are the tipping and transport fees for some of the ways the original contracts were lit in between
02:45the city of Miami and the companies. So, it's actually between MSUA and the companies.
02:52So, we are drafted in amendment and I believe the companies have agreed to it.
03:00the companies of R&D agree to it. It's just changing the name to MSU on the contract or the parties.
03:18Hi, Parker.
03:19Hi.
03:20Now in contract amendments with Republic Services, also known as BFI,
03:25Voice Services, C-23-080,
03:28Services C-23-280 and B-3 construction C-23-080.
03:36This will be the last year that we renew on the contract that was made a couple of years ago.
03:42This will go through April 30th, the 2026.
03:47Stella, environmental who halls all of the solid waste,
03:51they deliberate to BFI and what we call Republic Services.
03:57They were trying to increase it by 5.2%.
04:01They ended up settling with a 3% increase.
04:05We want to continue with the M-right now.
04:10Back when they won the bid, they won, and they said it's about 95 cents less per ton.
04:20We just to give you an idea of this year, we're at 12,615 tons,
04:265 March from July 1 through March 1.
04:32We hall a lot of solid waste, but the 3% increase will only increase by 79 cents.
04:40We're getting back up to where we close to about where we broke in before we got the contract.
04:46B-3 construction, that's where we take our demolition material and the price will stay the same with them.
04:55We actually haven't used them this year because we're not as heavy into knocking down homes
05:01and things like that.
05:03So if you want to, they know with them.
05:08BFI services, they ask for a 4.44% increase.
05:14They settle for a 3% as well.
05:18It's actually a 69-cent cost increase per ton.
05:23Back when we, before we got the contract going, they were at 451 per ton.
05:30And they ended up dropping that to 25-20 when we got the contract going a couple of years ago.
05:37So it's the 69-cent increase.
05:41It still makes it a great savings compared to what we've won.
05:47So we recommend renewing all of these contracts as the current market cost has increased,
05:55but it's still better to take this and go back out to bed again.
06:00and we will have to at the end of this one here.
06:0425?
06:07Tell them we're in budget for this every year.
06:091.1 million.
06:11I know it's right there.
06:16It says 1.1 million.
06:17I don't check with Terry.
06:18What is 1.1 million?
06:19So this looks like it's going to take us up to 1.3.
06:22So we're going to have to do budget amendments to take care of the overageer.
06:25Hopefully we will be able to stay in that 1.1.
06:29I'm going to make it next year.
06:30We're working on next year's budget right now.
06:32So we budgeted more money in our tipping fees to kind of for this.
06:35So you said it was we're at 12,000.
06:3812,615 tons right now.
06:44So we take 50,000 a year.
06:48Is that pretty good?
06:49We take what?
06:5022 tons, 22,000 tons.
06:52Things are high.
06:53That are lower.
06:54Yeah.
06:55Really.
06:55So is the reason that we took more in the...
06:59Because if you do the math in your extrapolate,
07:02we're in the first quarter and we've taken 12,000 tons already.
07:05That's 50,000 tons for the year.
07:14You're saying the first quarter.
07:16That's what he said.
07:18You said so far this year up to March.
07:20We've hauled 12,600 tons.
07:22It's cool.
07:23No, that's July.
07:24Yeah.
07:25Oh, yeah.
07:26My bet.
07:28So you're saying the...
07:30I understand your saying now.
07:31That's my math, not math, because I'm in different fiscal quarters in my...
07:37Right.
07:38I'm going to make some.
07:39Thank you.
07:49What's your number?
07:51Second.
07:53Joe's five.
07:54E7.
07:55Aaron Ryan.
07:56Barnes.
07:58Hi.
07:59Joe's five.
08:00Parker.
08:01She's having a problem.
08:02Yeah.
08:03I'm going to do this.
08:04If any of which is...
08:05What's your goodness?
08:06Supposing this again?
08:07No, I'm testing.
08:13You know what?
08:14Well done.
08:17Motion.
08:18Second.
08:22Who's seconded?
08:23Hi.
08:24Yeah.
08:25I'll do it.
08:26Joe's five.
08:27Hi.
08:28E7.
08:29Parker.
