00:02The mayor of the city council for Monday, August 12th 2024. Public input on schedule personal passes 3 claims list
00:45We step back.
00:48I'm going to start.
00:50We want the presentation from my very long build and services trying
00:54To do it, thank you Mayor Council
01:02Just have a little light reading
01:04i'd like go over with tonight
01:07One of them taking opportunity
01:12Bring up today on some projects we've been working
01:15Since adoptive or economic development action plan
01:18If remember
01:19We've been working on the plan for a long time
01:22And we have to do that in our plans
01:25In early April and ever since then
01:28We had this ground running
01:30In addressing some of these issues
01:33That were brought up
01:35I don't want focus specifically
01:37One thing is it was recommended from
01:39The plan has started
01:41Starting
01:45To address
01:46We have a meeting
01:49The first step we put
01:51A committee together,
01:53We've got great community
01:55And the first task that they will undertake is to
01:58Go out for request
02:00For qualifications from firms
02:03To conduct an updated housing and demographic study
02:05From my MIN auto accounting
02:07So
02:09Working with RFQ
02:11We've actually went out today
02:16And so we have targeted eight different firms
02:19That if conducted these types of studies in Oklahoma
02:23Using,
02:25To serve a lot of municipalities and local home
02:27They're all very forthcoming with information
02:31This is what this binder
02:33All the information that they provided us along
02:36The way
03:39This process could cost anywhere from 30 to 40 thousand
03:44When it's all said and now we are not asking you
03:47To pay forty thousand dollars
03:49Not even close
03:51We're working with other businesses
03:53Other partners, the MAD organization itself
03:57I understand that our smaller communities
04:00The NIC BOWERS from Farrowins already challenged
04:03All of their measures
04:04This process
04:06So we don't know what the total cost is yet
04:09We're just lining up partners at this point
04:11And, you begin a process of considering
04:14Helping fund
04:17This housing study
04:19MAD's taking it on its responsibility and ultimately working
04:21To pay for that
04:23But information will benefit everyone in their community
04:26The biggest beneficiary from
04:28From today
05:00Anyone who needs it, whether its developers
05:03Whether is the city of Miami, Farrowin and Kualpa
05:05Whoever need that information
05:07If you ask for
05:10It doesn't do anything good to go through
05:12The process has been in
05:14To spend money
05:16And then have a set on this shelf class
05:19Can not help us address
05:24We're asking everybody across
05:27That's willing
05:28To help contribute to that process
05:31This data is going
05:33It's about our community
05:35How many houses we need, but how much do
05:38We have each different level
05:41And what those price points
05:43Need be
05:46It will help us in identifying
05:48Neighborhood and RIVOTALization programs
05:50Help
05:52Identifying potential areas
05:54To be developed
05:56We might look at you, how to
05:59Recent workshop
06:02You talk about things like tiff districts
06:04It's going help us in identifying
06:06Some of those areas
06:08How the best go
06:10About funding
06:13Those types
06:15It is an exciting time for a new step
06:18Steps are different direction
06:21We are going to be able
06:24To help us in identifying
06:28And we will do it with myself and a part-time person
06:31Any health you can provide is along the way
06:34I appreciate
06:36We always appreciate
06:38The relationship
06:40What's up
06:42It has been good partnership for both
06:44Right now, I think mayor parker
06:46City of Interclimber
06:48Hopefully one day we will get to
06:51The mega phone
06:53To bless and scream from the top of
06:56Highest building
06:58That's our goal
07:00We'll give it there
07:02But housing was identified as a critical need
07:05Throughout economic development action plan
07:08And so, we are jumping in with both feet
07:10Get that data
07:11That will inspire them to go
07:14We'll start building some very immediate homes
07:18In our community answer it
07:25Thank you
07:27Next all I have the station
07:29And up goes personal insight
07:31How much work do we put into this
07:33You write down really proud of yourself
07:35Appreciate that
07:37A lot
07:39I give a lot of respect
07:42Because of these great people
07:44Of course, there are partners on that committee
07:46City manager Tyler Clyde
07:48Aaron Clocker from Greg Gateway
07:50Service for the community as well
07:52Jason Dollar High with a Burea Housing Authority
07:55Sean Taylor with Arves Bank
07:58Solomon Jones
08:00With first star construction
08:04I'll give you room and come and call
08:06And Kevin Carlton is called to resources
08:08That's our housing committee
08:10They've been meeting
08:12And they've done a lot of work in the very short period
08:17That's why we were able to get that RQ out today
08:21Less than two months since
08:23Thank you all for having me
08:26Thank You, Jim
08:31I'm sorry for your 24.5
08:34In this year
08:41It includes the claim
08:42To 1,500
08:44It would be the first of before quarterly payments that we will show you through
08:53Perfect
08:55Thank You
08:58Thanks
09:00Sir plus property program type of assets management office
09:05Management and private services application
09:08Which is same one
09:11Second
09:12Perfect
09:14He's done
09:16Well, that would contract
09:19Remember number one, for annual six months
09:21That'd be concrete and materials C23
09:23That's excellent
09:25It did a lot of work
09:27Motion to approve
09:31Perfect
09:33He still does
09:35To help declare proposed items listed in the package
09:38The surplus is not around as it happens
09:39It's not around the offer for public sale
09:42We're sold for highest scrap metal value
09:45Or authorized or structured to protect
09:47Since the information of the city manager sir
09:53I'm sorry
09:56Perfect
10:00Thank you, sir
10:0213
10:04Resolution CC 2020
10:0624 dc5
10:08Recognized by the
10:10The Bori Drive of Indians
10:13So council
10:17For a couple
10:19Months now
10:22Board
10:24Of the senior citizens center has been talking with
10:29City and about what they're wanting to do
10:33With
10:35Facility
10:37To discuss
10:41Other stakeholders
10:43And to work out
10:45The Bori Drive and your citizens center
10:50There's issues
10:52Arts to the docs program which is housed in that facility
10:56But as of a week ago
10:59Friday, we tried
11:01To us a resolution
11:05Asking us
11:07To an essence
11:19We have our blessing
11:22Discussion
11:25If there are some
11:34Still some questions
11:44So about people to speak on that
11:48On the issue
11:50That's sure decision but it is certainly your prerogative
11:55We don't have a question
11:58I think there are representatives from docs
12:00They represent us in their citizens center
12:07As of today, we want what to say
12:29I would like to just address you guys tonight
12:32And thank for letting us
12:34Addressive UNBJ Munion
12:36The Director of Doc Services
13:09Director of Doc Services
13:12Dr. Rick Teele
13:14Help to Lay out the senior center
13:17When it was built and developed
13:20We will not have a cook site
13:23I'm going
13:25To say we won't
13:27It'll be very difficult for us
13:31To get this
13:33The Senior Center is an ideal location
13:35For Us
13:36We have a special location
13:40We are going to provide a special location
13:43We will be able
13:46To take on more counties that were under served
13:49So we did
13:51Take-on and air, Cherokee
13:54And Sequoia County
13:56As of July 1
13:59We actually doubled in size
14:01We have a program and service
14:04The Quality of Service that we provide to the seniors
14:07Our advocating not only for docs
14:10But four, but four
14:12This is an auto-a
14:15And it does affect Northern Park
14:18And with out
14:20Without a kitchen
14:22There will be over 125 people
14:25A day
14:27That won't receive a hot meal
14:31In the end of our day
14:34We will be able to provide a special location
14:37To get out and interact
14:40But they also need a meal
14:43So we ask you, consider that
14:46Consider
14:48The Long Javity Of Our Program
14:50Manage
14:52And we have over 30 years
14:55That's fully managed
14:57Not just in kitchen area
14:58We have fully managed that site
15:01Through a contract with the city of Grove
15:04And we would ideally like to do this here
15:07and talk about it
15:10New Morris Times for prior two
15:13Myself
15:15I've been working on three years
15:17For 13 years, in the community
15:20In City
15:22Do you want any questions
15:25For me?
15:29I think that our senior
15:31Our doc service is
15:33President, as also here
15:35And Is That Allowed for Her To Speak
15:38Also
15:41For Green Gateway
15:45Do you have any questions
15:47You said your start of 125 people a day
15:49A lot of care canning
15:51This auto-a county in the top half
15:53Of Craig County and those are just hot meals
15:55Not our frozen meals
15:57We provide
15:59Total
16:01We have over total in all three counties
16:04Out of this cook site
16:06At a district's high, 125
16:09Currently
16:21That is just hot meals
16:25The totals for Hot and Cold
16:29Would be around 2.25
16:34And that are freezer trucks
16:36You see going around
16:38It has 1 meal per day
16:40And that affects meals on wheels, older Americans
16:45In advance of the bank
17:13I'm a executive director for Green Gateway
17:15We have fun docs directly
17:19There has been a push per collaboration
17:22Between Title VI and Title III
17:25That maybe we could work something out with the tribe
17:29Early On
17:31Where still hopeful
17:33Something in
17:35The area could work out
17:38What it really boils down to
17:41Making sure that those meals are served
17:44Make sure there is not a gap in the service
17:47Those seniors don't go with these meals
17:50For all of them, they're only meal
17:54They will be alone
17:57Even if you do this
17:59It's certainly their own hot meal
18:01They really do depend on it's their life line
18:04As far as the funding goes
18:07We fund docs
18:11It doesn't fall back to the city
18:16I heard a comment that they were
18:19Primarily paid for by visiting in growth
18:22But its not set up
18:24Their three federal grants
18:27And i wouldn' want you
18:29To think that if it ever fell under your jurisdiction
18:35You would have to put in the bill for
18:38They are a stand-alone agency
18:42And i was contacted
18:44Kind of figure out what
18:46The original set up on
18:49That building
18:51A CDBG grant
18:53Originally then applied
18:55Or had been owned by city
18:56And then the ownership would transfer to
18:59The senior citizen's
19:01Because seniors couldn't have been able
19:03To apply for a CDBG grant on their own
19:05Now there could've had an older American
19:07That was kicked in
19:10There it helped as well
19:12But at some point, that
19:14It needed over
19:16To see your center
19:20Long story short
19:22I am just advocating on behalf of
19:23The people that need their milk served
19:27I would like to see
19:29Really
19:31To the tribe and docs be able
19:33Together in a title six
19:35And it could have been able
19:37Mead & middle
19:39And collaborate
19:41As i told you all
19:43When
19:45I took over
19:48As we tried to build our connection with
19:50Because we have a lot to offer each other
19:53And there's so much that
19:55We can do together
19:57I would really like
20:00To see what happens at the end of
20:02The day, and how
20:05Whatever
20:07That is where you need to be
20:19On
20:23The chairman for the board
20:25This organization
20:27Is run very smoothly
20:28And it's a non-starter for us
20:31For anybody else
20:34We are not going to be able
20:37To see the people who have been
20:41I mean, she is just doing
20:48In Darlens here also
20:50But our main concern
20:52Is we own
20:54Doxers' owns
20:56The kitchen appliances
20:58It's a non-starter for us
21:02For anybody else to say
21:04We can't make any promises we won
21:07I have checked with several local people
21:11This past week find another building
21:14Of course that is going
21:16To build out or
21:18To lease anything
21:20Or maybe constructing a building
21:23A stand alone
21:25Just the kitchen services
21:27It's a house
21:30And it is going to take some time
21:32So as BJ and Aaron have both said
21:35That are concern
21:38If we had
21:40How long were you gonna go
21:42To get out
21:45About how far?
21:49How many people will be there
21:51I think that's not on weekends
21:53But in the area
21:54We have a house
21:57And those women are there
22:00Three women were in the building
22:02Before 6 o'clock
22:04Cooking wheels
22:07To be delivered at noon
22:10So we're kind of tweeter rock on our fireplace
22:13I would love to work with the tribe
22:17In their bylals
22:19We'll go back to the city of Miami
22:24It's stationed in both them
22:26So for
22:28The senior citizens
22:30To give it
22:32That pure air tribe
22:36You're just kind of thrown us
22:39For a loop
22:41This is what we are going
22:43And everything
22:45In our cities help
22:47And we appreciate anything you can do for us
22:50But I said, We have 125 mils every day
22:54Those people that will not get a hot meal
22:58So if any consideration
23:14If your want to speak on this chair
23:16Please
23:18Yes
23:20What's going
23:22To give it new facility
23:24For dogs
23:25I also believe that process is going to take probably about two years
23:30And we have a community of the city and
23:33Which i know all half
23:35Of course, but
23:38That's just gonna be
23:42A couple year down in the road
23:50We've got bigger and more to do here at the meantime
23:52We know that there is a great deal of heartburn on behalf
23:56And we've shared
23:58That with BJ multiple times
24:00I'd say two or three times, maybe twice
24:04In in the app
24:06What are those rules?
24:08Our goals
24:12To help and support seniors
24:15So it would be an unwritten rule
24:17They will never build another building
24:19Again they won't have a kitchen
24:21Because so much what
24:24We find ourselves with the opportunities to support
24:28The senior center and level that we're excited
24:32But there is an issue
24:34With lack of not being access
24:37So shared
24:39A turning been more
24:42And together one half talked about what
24:45What would be could
24:47If you know this real issues
24:50In a box talks
24:53About their access
24:55Technically it's just 30 day month
25:30We have those meetings
25:34The habities to do that
25:36And so we're excited about the way it's going
25:38So, as far away
25:40As well
25:42There is no interest in seeing 125 builders lose their meals
25:47Not just completely off-brand
25:49To what they did
25:51They talked a total of six and entitled three
25:53On our side
25:55Of us
25:57In order for them to make sure
25:59We have the opportunity to do this
26:02In order for them
26:05To make sure that we are able
26:08And then they will be able
26:11For us, it's just 30 days
26:14Two weeks ago
26:16This last year
26:19You guys know
26:21Got a cattle farm by these
26:23We took five of those animals
26:27Raised him up
26:29Put in an nutrition program
26:30It's obvious
26:33Anyway, as we know it will take some time
26:35To walk this out of the box
26:38But frankly right now
26:40We have got agreement between two governing councils
26:42As a governing board
26:44That doesn't always happen
26:46Founders are really great partners
26:49They go to unanimously
26:51The see
26:53This partnership
26:57Our business committee is tomorrow night
26:59Before us just like you guys had one tonight
27:01It took us up
27:03And it's our elected officials
27:05We are excited to see this kind of thing
27:07So we know what will take some time
27:11When you have the elders
27:13They're at a senior center
27:15With meals
27:19That come through
27:23What do they do?
27:25The opportunity
27:28To represent an opportunity
27:32To represent an opportunity
27:33To have a great work to cooperate
27:37For the more understanding
27:45The tribe comes in
27:47We will definitely
27:49Can't share this face
27:51Well we've asked what
27:53I'm shared with him
27:55A lot of football game on
27:58And for ten years
28:00On my way
28:02But when you talk about it
28:04My mind and not
28:05To chill in
28:07We're going to have those times
28:09Together but I know we can't do it in a marble
28:13And right now that's what seniors
28:15Has access
28:17Because of the work they've got
28:19They are asking them to change their rules
28:21That is why the senior center doesn' t
28:23Have access
28:27So, thats where there cruxes
28:29It isn''t not
28:31But you don´re here
28:33A tree
28:34We have a key work
28:38It's our draw
28:42That is what draws the line
28:45Not this team
28:47And like you know
28:49Even though we are not available
28:52Because it´s your way
28:55But that will be time
28:57So,
28:59As far as I can see
29:01We also don't want to change their entire model
29:04But we know the equipment is theirs
29:07We've already committed
29:09The dollars to win it comes time
29:11To purchase new equipment for that facility
29:13You guys will see in our learning center
29:15What's they old campus?
29:17Our community centre or country club
29:21They are a model of their club house
29:23And then learn and all three
29:25Those employees start
29:27Fill your operational commercial kitchen
29:29Exactly what you're looking at
29:31We believe when it comes to that
29:34But the goal is not
29:37To have an iteration of battery
29:39On behalf
29:41And so, you know there's going
29:43That we can't make decisions
29:45Because if they don´t access
29:47They will be in control
29:50So let us talk about somebody brought up
30:01The building had come back
30:05Let me start
30:07What does this look like?
30:09The hircles and corporation
30:13Of the senior citizens centre
30:15As well as by-law or citizen center
30:21So that if they dissolve
30:23Has a corporation
30:25Then all of us,
30:27That have to go
30:29To see there is another provision
30:37But every reason
30:39If it doesn't work
30:43In this country,
30:52We can just last week
30:55We got the minutes of
30:58The senior citizens centre
31:00Where they put it to approve this range
31:06To six,
31:11It says that emotion was made by the old
31:14Designed a resolution
31:16If needed for transfer
31:18Of
31:23A murdering
31:35That's not my type of graph
31:37But I have to take
31:57Pre-seedy murder and
31:59You're going
32:03Transfer into
32:05Transfer to us
32:07I am thoroughly confused
32:10Both of them are approved by the board
32:12As a six-0
32:33That´s kind
32:38What i figured is that
32:42So let's go back
32:46When this building was built,
32:49The CDBG grant
32:52It would have had to be in sponsored
32:56By the city
32:58So,
33:01There is a ten year window of transfer
33:04On that
33:07I think about this
33:11That i believe
33:15The construction process started around 1990
33:18Probably completed,
33:20Fully granted
33:22Around 93
33:25And
33:28The second day
33:31I have a meeting
33:34To confirm that
33:36But i believe
33:39That's probably about the time
33:41Of course,
33:44You would see
33:46On your books as well
33:48Probably coincides with
33:53About
33:54The ownership of the building
33:57Transvariate into the senior
34:02Center
34:05We have not met those documents
34:11All cities are allowed to get rid
34:14Of course,
34:19But our financial program
34:24Goes back
34:27To 2000
34:49In 2004
34:53To 2002
34:54To 2000
34:57From 1990
34:59In 2004
35:03We have found no records
35:05So we don't know how much money
35:08The city is putting it in
35:13And all together with the records
35:15That show that
35:18We put $718
35:31To be put into the program
35:33I think that's a lot of credit
35:34That's the tax payers
35:37Sure, just making sure that you had a debt in there
35:41Right
35:49I believe
36:04The green of
36:07The senior center
36:09And the peori
36:11Is it
36:15Just transfer
36:21Of the building
36:23It is just a transfer
36:25Nothing coming back
36:26I think it's just a bit of money
36:29We put $10
36:31But that is the whole corporation
36:37So what does that look like from the label
36:42Perspective
36:44Because at some point this language kicks in
36:47That thing has dissolved
36:49If they don't have ownership
36:51Of building any more
36:53It doesn' t need to take over ownership
37:00Chain custody with the executive
37:01And then to them
37:03That's a key to legal discussion
37:06I know, but this is the complicated situation
37:09So we need make sure that all of our fees and dollars
37:13To discuss
37:15It would be good
37:18How big it will be
37:20You have a facility you can do
37:23To operate in
38:54We had a contract
38:56This was set up many years ago
38:57This is what Dagmar has talking about
39:00With the senior center
39:02The seniors in our board
39:04Wanted to be able
39:06To resell them
39:08So they do contract with this and re-sell their own meals
39:11Our services, docks
39:13We don't charge for
39:15Our OAA program
39:17We are not charged
39:29What's it like
39:49We have 350
39:52They received a 350
39:53We received 350
39:57For preparing the meal
39:59The food costs and they receive their dollar for
40:01They go to
40:04So these are for seniors that
40:06Not signed up
40:11Through those old American's program
40:14It is a state law within
40:36In this states, consider double-tipping
40:41How long did you sign?
42:10I don't know
42:12Move it right
42:20We can't see the number of people
42:44So let's say a perfect world
42:47Just on this out there
42:49It takes two months because you have
42:51A place where we could move right in
43:07How do they provide meals during that transition?
44:05There will be an appearance
44:07That is not like the senior in our board
44:09I hope it would help me
44:16But if he said this, my name was Gager
44:19I am asking for President
44:21Resign
44:25So we took over in January
44:30But when the office was
44:32The whole of Shabbany
44:38Through all this, your center is so low
44:44That within that state
44:48Some catastrophic thoughts happened
44:52We would be totally so
44:57Trying to come on up
44:59To keep their senior centre open for everybody
45:04And
45:05Asking first of all because we know there is that clause in there
45:09About the city, We are going to see
45:15He suggested possibly you give it
45:17To their tribe if they would want
45:19That's where
45:24At least 70 don't
45:30So we just figured he was
45:32Senior centre needs
45:34To go get somebody around
45:37It will be close
45:39Allwe have money
45:40We are going to have a meeting
45:45That's in our open for view gain
45:51Full overview of carcass
45:53And we don't need any program
45:56So the conversation was
46:05As long as everybody is protected
46:31How about what you're trying
46:54To do?
47:14Where were at
47:23The city
47:25You had approach
47:27I didn t want this
47:29She said she says that
48:01We were going to be a big deal
48:04With people within the city at different times
48:07That we would like
48:25And I think that there was other
48:28Grants it possibly
48:30Would have been available for
48:32The senior centre
48:34To keep their doors open
48:40But again, It is of all in terbord
48:43How long has got
48:46We helped to lay out
48:49When when
48:51We had a lot of work
48:5530 years
49:01My question is not
49:03Try to be sarcastic
49:05But by any stretch, you may sound that way
49:09When it comes out
49:11The senior centre and
49:15And now we are
49:18They have been brought into something
49:21You guys just
49:23Been the same building
49:25Thirty years
49:27We get into
49:53Someone who has been on their
49:56This is what it's made of
49:59They've lost all that information
50:01And there are no throttles
50:03When they're volunteers
50:05So I guess
50:08Would you like to
50:10Recapitate?
50:12If when
50:14You came in
50:16But just
50:18Did Bow or anyone
50:19Did anyone say
50:22Oh hey, the senior centre
50:24Dox is talking to us about
50:26Managing the seniors
50:28No.
50:31It's a learning car for students
50:34And that would be something you have volunteers
50:36You know
50:42So because there are
50:44The management of questions
50:47That slide, my recommend tells
50:57Can't we work?
54:08I don't know if you're aware
54:11But through brain gateway
54:13They are grants
54:15Specifically for the senior centre
54:17Up to $12,000
54:21No that's not a huge amount
54:30It is 12,000
54:32They aren't poor just stay away
54:35If they can
54:37Or what does our involvement
54:40What do we need to even be involved
54:47As the city
54:50My name
55:09My name is Darling Miller
55:11And I am employed with doc services
55:14But my question
55:17Is not in that direction
55:19Am amazed
55:22That the city like me and
55:24The growth we have
55:27We're going to be able
55:29To say no,
55:32Wait a minute
55:34What's it sound like?
55:39Nobody
55:40I mean, we are not
55:43Any attention or provide anything
55:46For the seniors to go
55:48If if
55:50The senior centre closes
55:58And don't think anybody is saying
56:00That's why
56:11Because they wanted to remain open
56:21But i'm just thinking
56:23In any of them
56:25They're like,
56:27I don't know if everybody is going to
56:32Know that
56:34The city could be very proud
56:36At the senior centre
56:38That's run and runs for all
56:40Because there are some who
56:42Don t go
56:44They're not aware
56:46Whatever with anything
56:49Our tribes have
56:52It goes under
56:54And i'm not
56:56And i can tell you that there's a couple of things
56:59There is beautiful facility
57:01That
57:04You have at the complex
57:07Country club used to be
57:11I cant use it
57:13It all strictly for
57:15The tribal members
57:17My grandchildren and all our boys
57:19Yeah,
57:25But theres so much people here
57:30It had to be a tribal member
57:33And yes, we rented it
57:35Absolutely
57:37Yeah under my granddaughter's name is
57:39Tribalmember but i could not do that
57:42That was the personal experience
57:45I don't want this turn into
57:47To battle your butt
57:49We appreciate you
57:51Can win
57:54You have to understand what my hand has
57:58Its struggling right now
58:00If i do not want this to come out
58:03We don't like each other
58:05Who wants us
58:08To come up with a resolution
58:11There may be people who can make it
58:14I'm learning to see that
58:16Never is everybody going
58:19Everybody happy
58:21But if we could try and make most of you happiness
58:24Then win
58:25I know Chief Harper well
58:29That will weigh into my decision
58:31Our friendship is either free
58:33But we'll make the decisions that
58:36We all feel comfortable with and executive
58:38And mentally, who can't so
58:40Not OG Farble understand
58:42Where i'm decisionly like
58:44Um...
58:46...and hope everybody else won't do
58:49Don t think the senior citizen is what's a question
58:52He has committed in front of us
58:53It will be open
58:55Everybody, six or seven days a week
58:57He said it on the record of a ride by
58:59The question is to catch in
59:01And that's what concerns everybody
59:04That s where we'll meet
59:07They've already been concerned about senior
59:09Seniors he has committed to this
59:11So...
59:14...someone you may not
59:41But up until last weekend
59:44My mother was homebound
59:46And in my living room
59:49...and dogs were served her meals
59:51So I understand clearly what you're saying
59:56My mother passed away last week
59:58Had dog showed up to deliver a meal
60:01Then i appreciate it
60:03What they do
60:05Think there's anybody here that doesn't appreciate
60:07This is an issue
60:10Not sure working building effects
60:13To take the truth
60:14And you know what i'm not sure
60:21There's anybody in this room that doesn't want people to get their meals
60:24We just need a free outhouse
60:26They're the compromise here
60:29That s where we re going come in
60:32I think an important thing there remember is
60:34She brought it up when she said
60:36This couldn t continue so if they let things
60:38Continue as was,
60:40...she set her without saying
60:42It...this whole building shuts down and then wears dogs
60:46So....This had happened
60:48One way or another
60:49I truly believe there's a compromise here
60:53And i believed it was the compromise
60:55There is this kind of benefit
60:59We all thought we will probably cut that up
61:02You guys, who made help sell
61:07This man
61:32That would be easy
61:34So thats what when
61:37When you took over
61:39...you talked to them about taking
61:40Over at that point
62:34It sounds like it wouldn t be
62:36Because we use the kitchen for city events
62:39That s kind of a problem
62:42The catch is, you can keep our work
62:45Dox needs to do it
62:47And if he takes over the building
62:49...he will build his kitchen there either
62:51So thats kinda
62:53We know its not one
62:55But as when all have delivered
62:57So we re going to figure out how it would make work
63:00One more question
63:07You said you guys have seventy thousand dollars
63:10Roughly
63:12That is a asset that also be transferred
63:15Along with the building
63:28...by and before way they move on
63:31To next one
63:33Okay, so if your head of this agenda
63:42I am in front
63:44And proof there are some other action
64:26You think about that
64:29I would say
64:32To have very secorors, no action
64:36This is the agenda
64:38So we will take a little action along
64:41Good morning
64:44Jerry, some of you are in Cainman arrangement
64:47Plan and GR
64:49And we agree with Timblist
64:53And so what i got there
64:56That was my favourite
64:58I am just gonna keep this short and sweet
65:03Because y'all know i get real long wind it
65:05So lets go ahead
65:08Lets take a look at the agreement
65:16Let's head back
65:18Tell you guys that
65:20That,
65:22...I wanted to set up
65:24A payment plan for
65:26The citizens of Miami
65:30To help in
65:31Planning a funeral can be burdensome
65:34And so when those left behind
65:36Don't have the money to carry out your wishes
65:39It could already turn this stressful time into something that's unbearable
65:44So we want you help
65:47Encourage at GR
65:49Pre-planning
65:52In order
65:54To do That,
65:57We would offer
65:59The citizens of Miami
66:00In 12 equal payments
66:04For a plot of property
66:07We feel that it will really help and broaden
66:11You know what we have to offer there at GR
66:15So this contract
66:17Well, else citizens
66:19To select the plot
66:21And make twelve equal payment
66:23She complete their ownership
66:26This contract would be for
66:28The plot only
66:29The employees will be included
66:31Such as the opening and closing
66:33Setting fees or mark
66:36And
66:38That, better we'll not
66:40Be allowed to in turn
66:42Or intern on set plot
66:44Until
66:46The agreement is paid in full
66:49But by allowing them
66:52Breaking this down
66:54To 12 monthly payments
66:58You can break it down
66:59So for a full
67:02Internment plot
67:04You can break it down to almost sixty
67:06So being able
67:08To provide that option
67:10Two are citizens
67:12It's showing our citizens
67:14We care about their end of life process
67:19And we're going
67:21Move forward with them in this tough time
67:25There is some fees to set up the program
67:27So there would be a hundred twenty five dollar admin
67:30To start the contract
67:32And if
67:34There is any return checks
67:36If it's not sufficient
67:38But fee of 25 dollars
67:42That kind
67:44We have set up
67:48Today we're coming to you
67:51In conclusion
67:53We are going
67:55To be able to see
67:58We are just asking that you
68:02Allow us
68:04To get started
68:07So we know there may
68:09Be up
68:12But allowing us
68:15To start it
68:17And helping our citizens
68:19Can kind of
68:21It will allow us something to at least build on
68:25And I think that's an important
68:28Do you guys have any questions?
68:35Question about default
68:38If anything the debtor should not apply
68:40Any section of portion
68:42Of this agreement, it is considered in default
68:45Under such a event
68:48We can't help but
68:50Empathize and book myself into
68:53This situation
68:55At time
68:56We are going to be a bit of a
68:59A little heavy handed
69:01If you guess maybe the word
69:03Sure
69:05So let me explain why we're doing
69:07Okay
69:10The reason for that is because
69:12Because
69:14Time out property
69:16Getting ready
69:20But what I'm getting ready
69:22To open up new areas
69:24You guys can believe where
69:25We are extending
69:28The garden apiece
69:30To eventually get a new columbarium
69:34So we still have the mossy land
69:36And place is right along
69:38It's always
69:40A huge
69:42Area because nobody wants to walk
69:45All of them back
69:48To bury their loved one
69:50Since getting ready
69:51To be able to get ready
69:54And keep it from
69:56Less or coming
69:58Or from Molly
70:00Keeping the tide up for a year
70:03You know, you as cash payer
70:06Can't come in by that property
70:08I mean we feel
70:12My concern is
70:14It's like at
70:16In my term and something happens
70:18And I pay 11 months of this
70:21Really like my daughter to come in
70:23Just clean up the house
70:25Absolutely
70:27We would definitely
70:29Confident that she
70:32Right
70:34That is not something just because
70:36Like a few steps away ten minutes
70:39To be the next person
70:42In line, detrusted
70:44The executor or whatever
70:46The next person in line or your husband
70:48Or you're wife
70:53You would have the option to make those last two payments
70:55In order
70:57To create what we call ownership at that time
71:01It's covered
71:03And I emphasize this is a pre-B
71:18Right
71:21I'll submit to not pay the whole amount
71:23Which is when they are in need
71:26And that's difficult for some people
71:30The reason we have it this way
71:32Is once there somebody in
71:34Around and makes a lot harder
71:36To resist the progress
71:38So, so
71:40This
71:42It helps
71:46People do
71:48But
71:53It's like a set of the other
71:55This is going to be learning process for all
71:57Of us
71:59The system, something that we've had in
72:02In this past
72:04Something
72:06That it kind
72:08A vision I came with
72:10When i started
72:12To reable
72:14And exactly what been said as
72:19As pre-need basis
72:21And instead of offing them
72:24At the hardest time in their life
72:28To forego
72:30Ex amounted dollars
72:35So we fully see what kind
72:50You still know
72:59Is there already doing a great job
73:01I'm telling you these are
73:03Great
73:06Just that one's geared me up
73:08Quick question
73:12My mom is passed away
73:13I'm going to start with a
73:17And my mom is
73:19She's in the insurance policy
73:21So she paid on it for
73:23For five years, 50 bucks a month
73:25If
73:28To pay off
73:30Is there
73:33A way
73:35Do you suffer like that
73:38It something we can look into
73:41This was just phase one
73:42I don't know
73:44Everything is tough right now
73:48This was just a very first step
73:50We can definitely look into
73:52It made it a lot easier on me
73:54Because she planned everything
73:56Right
73:58And the time and the task is
74:00If this confused pre-planning
74:03For funeral home
74:05In pre planing with our cemetery
74:07So,
74:09Our cemetery
74:10Plot of land
74:12The funeral home
74:14Will still be the ones that does
74:16All other like this services
74:19And, and
74:21That's where
74:23For a five year program
74:26Because
74:28That particular amount is about
74:31Let us just be honest
74:33It almost buying car
74:35They can spread out over
74:37A 5-year period
74:38To where we are offering a 12-month
74:42Break it down
74:44Our services
74:46Obviously, there is less
74:48So you're not going to need five years for that
74:52If your pay off
74:56The difference in the insurance company
74:59Is an insurance company
75:01New Actuarial studies
75:04In terms of how much they are selling
75:07Their service will be very complicated
75:11There is nobody on staff now
75:14To this capable
75:16Do make the lowest kinds of studies
75:19Our insurance company to figure that out
75:23But,
75:26That's...that are an insurance-companied in your example
75:29Well
75:31This one was through Jeff Brown
