[22:39] We set up here and make decisions

[22:42] Give direction,and set paths

[22:44] And then these folks go out

[22:47] On a day after

[22:49] After a week in

[22:51] After a special event

[22:55] We have a lot of citizens to take care

[22:57] Of this town and they do an amazing job

[22:59] They're very dedicated

[23:01] To it,and often

[23:03] It goes unsung

[23:06] And then appreciate

[23:08] Sometimes

[23:10] Often find themselves the target

[23:13] Frustration

[23:17] They just like with trees getting planted

[23:20] Macy standing up and showing her leadership

[23:22] And she's a great role in this community

[23:26] They all make it different every day

[23:29] We've worked really hard

[23:32] Since i have been here to create

[23:35] Of supporting one another and lifting

[23:38] I think we made Great Strides

[23:41] In doing that

[23:44] I'm proud of the employees

[23:48] Then,we had come together

[23:51] As you all know

[23:53] We've been able to really adjust

[23:56] How we budget in the city

[23:59] It felt like prior

[24:02] In a few years

[24:04] I spent about a lot of effort

[24:06] Budgeting for things

[24:09] And,we didn't always take care

[24:11] Of our people

[24:13] If they don t get their people

[24:16] Those are going

[24:17] So we got to have good people and get care of our

[24:20] People,and

[24:22] We came a long way

[24:24] Getting the cost of living

[24:26] Adjustments in place

[24:28] And closed that gap

[24:31] That doesn t include

[24:33] The unions are not part

[24:37] Of those things

[24:40] I would tell you don't lose sight of our unions

[24:42] We've got

[24:44] Potentially some good agreements coming your way

[24:46] I'm going to go for several weeks now

[24:49] And i m very excited

[24:51] For what we think is gonna come through

[24:53] Youre approval

[24:55] Some multi year

[24:58] Regments with our unions

[25:01] They all efforts close the wage gap

[25:04] Because,weve gotta take care of them

[25:06] To keep an eye on him

[25:07] We have to keep an eye on him

[25:11] Because we need a lot of people

[25:17] With local communities

[25:20] As our employees always has option

[25:23] Work here and work somewhere else

[25:26] And,we want them

[25:29] As I get ready

[25:33] The timing is really bad

[25:45] A lot of that s unknown but we looked at trends

[25:48] We have been trending very positively

[25:51] As you all know,weve had really good times

[25:54] It's a horrible thing

[26:00] It was really a kickstart for our economy

[26:08] A lot of extra dollars flowing in the community

[26:12] But,we also have inflation

[26:14] That is going up as

[26:16] We've all experienced

[26:18] In that inflation did drive

[26:20] Lot increases

[26:22] So you see in ourselves tax

[26:25] Just climb

[26:27] We go to our budgets and weve

[26:30] All though cautious

[26:32] And conservative when

[26:34] When trynestimate future sales tax

[26:36] Knowing at what point maybe that was going

[26:38] To come down

[26:40] In it is starting the plateau

[26:42] So,we ve been on an inclined

[26:47] But ,but not dipping

[26:49] What do you want

[26:52] We don t know where this will be

[26:54] And the last year

[26:57] In our past several years

[26:59] Our availability to purchase things has been low

[27:02] Everybody s had that problem

[27:04] Supply chain issue

[27:06] So it is really hard

[27:09] To get anything done

[27:11] It means its a real Hard-to-spin money

[27:13] Weve tried budget and we re budgeting some of those new sales tax

[27:16] They were not spending at all

[27:20] Because,we can t give things delivered

[27:22] And we can carry over to the next budget

[27:28] The city generally runs on that

[27:31] Carrier over

[27:34] To some degree as revenue

[27:36] So ,We anticipate it

[27:39] As a revenue

[27:42] This year

[27:44] We ve had good year in sales tax

[27:47] Inflation still seems

[27:50] Flesh and high which also means our cost of materials is high

[27:53] But availability coming back

[27:56] So we re going to be really right now

[27:59] Is that our carryover is smaller than normal

[28:03] It s showing a reduced revenue

[28:06] This time and it s in fact

[28:10] Jill does what she can t try to calculate

[28:13] What trends She seeing,and all

[28:15] She could present the numbers

[28:17] That her husband has

[28:20] She cannot read The Future

[28:22] We ve had it if you continue on this

[28:24] We ve got it in this fiscal year

[28:28] Because we re going to a central spending

[28:30] Which means lets don t continue

[28:32] To spend at the right

[28:34] Even though availability is there

[28:36] So that,we can try and contain that carryover

[28:40] For next years budget

[28:42] When you go into Next Year's Budget

[28:44] The first thing You want

[28:47] Do as budget for your people

[28:49] And then ,you ll be focused on all of

[28:53] First thing we re doing right now is we are in a central spending
