00:05I'll call it over to the regular scheduled meeting of my city council from Monday, August 7, 2020.
00:12Public input on schedule personal answers. We have nine. Three claims.
00:18What's your proof?
00:20Second.
00:20What do you say?
00:22Hi.
00:22So what?
00:23Hi.
00:23Williams.
00:24Hi.
00:24Son of a.
00:25Hi.
00:26Parker.
00:26Hi.
00:28Four minutes for the July 17th.
00:32Regger's scheduled meeting in July 24th.
00:35Regger's scheduled meeting for the State Special.
00:36No, that is a work session.
00:40Regger.
00:41Motion approved.
00:41Second.
00:42Second.
00:42Second.
00:45Hi.
00:45Each set of Williams.
00:46Hi.
00:47Son of a.
00:48Hi.
00:48Parker.
00:48Hi.
00:49Five budget amendment.
00:51Number 23-28.
00:53Fire using unbended CPR card revenue to reimburse for its own expense.
00:59The cost is, and the budget for a certain number of cards that they had more
01:09parts been anticipated for this is that you've read the report that you've built
01:15the list with.
01:52Outside organization contracts for fiscal year 23-294 for Miami senior senior, senior centers.
02:00Community crisis center, grain gateway to Pennsylvania, and Miami area, economic development
02:06at the Oregon Foundation.
02:10the senior center, community courses, and relevant,
02:25they use the same template for the contract.
02:27So the changes are the dates,
02:29and the financial statements calling instead of every time
02:34they ask for reimbursement,
02:35that also allows you to promote any of the such expressions
02:39such as those that came to you on time,
02:42ask for share of it.
02:55It is what we did last year impact the week in the city bank court.
03:05Did we approve all the amounts and these in budget time I think we had questions on some of these in
03:18That's what we had them come in and speak
03:22In present for the grand gateway for the Pelven primarily the one and then they're gonna come back again
03:29And then speak because they've got some
03:33Operational updates that they're excited about they're gonna come speak
03:37So we did do that last year we did a study session at this senior center and then last year. We taught study set
03:46Pelven was one way
03:48Pelven was the one we we weren't sure about just because they had a local office and then they had sold that local office, so we had them come in and explain
03:55What what they were doing why that it's so old and how they're continuing to operate and what their numbers were
04:03That was the last meeting the meeting before meeting the last one was our study session
04:09So I'll be honest. I didn't get much out of that meeting for the end of the day
04:15I don't think those did it would make me feel any better about it
04:18I would prefer to pull that one out. We'll prove the other three
04:24For me until they come back and we all get a chance to talk to them
04:29I was here and they talked
04:36Do we lump all these together normally that
04:55No last three your motion you can
05:04Well, now last year whenever we've had to see your citizens in or we talked about
05:12The amount of people that they served and it was just that it was just really a handful and
05:18Did you get anything out of it this time as far as it's it's it's they're serving any more people and then what they were
05:41I think whenever we whenever we were out here though, we've like in coping times and post-COVID
05:52They were still in regaining their numbers, but are one any numbers. Yeah, what any numbers close to that?
06:00I think they are, because they have a thing face, like if the same person comes to dinner to say,
06:07but it's what they said.
06:10Counting the number of times, they serve the public.
06:14Yeah.
06:15Did we, did they get a count on meals, did that, that increase?
06:20That's part.
06:21We can have dogs.
06:22Dogs are so different.
06:23Dogs are part of that.
06:25Mitten.
06:26It's like a man.
06:27Well, they were making meals there weren't they?
06:29Was that dogs are making the meals?
06:31Makes sense of they served.
06:32Yeah.
06:34That's part of the presentation.
06:35That's the same.
06:36That's the same.
06:37Well, actually we have dogs as one group.
06:46We have no pet present.
06:47We've had no mob in that group.
06:50We speak to the council, but not dogs.
06:54How does the contract with dogs work?
07:03Is that?
07:04So, Matt, you know, how many of us have 15, 16?
07:07The men's city manager and dogs lost their federal funding for rent.
07:12They were giving the senior center a thousand months.
07:15And that's also the presentation.
07:20Well, last year we talked about the kind of looking at that again this year on how much
07:32A.S. urban stuff and I think we talked about the meals as well.
07:37But, and then, you know, looking and seeing if we're going to subsidize the same or
07:43a little less and then kind of be on there.
07:46They're costs have gone up, which is primarily what they've been sharing with us.
07:50There needs to go up with their building, aging, things that nature.
07:59So I know that they had came to us and talked about that.
08:02But I don't think they presented necessarily a new number to the same one that's last year.
08:07Hello.
08:08Hello, your president.
08:09I'm not.
08:11So, um, am I hearing that we would like for some of these folks to come talk to us before we, okay, this?
08:18How long have we been subsidizing?
08:22I'm just subsidizing how we do something different with them.
08:37I actually have our building.
08:39The community crisis centers and fellow men, senior center, coursemates.
08:47We talked about small business development, boys and girls stuff.
08:54Personally, I'd like to talk more to fellow men people to the.
09:00Let's go with the seniors here.
09:02You're getting the seniors here.
09:05Everybody else.
09:06Hi, guys.
09:07Yeah.
09:08I'm going to be going to be a crisis and maybe just a little bit.
09:10Yeah.
09:11Everybody.
09:13Yeah.
09:14I agree with that.
09:15So I'll make a motion.
09:16We improve the contrast with monoceneor center.
09:20I mean, a crisis center.
09:21And maids.
09:23And we'll pull up and get what we call man to the intelligence.
09:29Take it.
09:32Go ahead.
09:35Hi.
09:377th.
09:38Williams.
09:39Hi.
09:40So.
09:41Hi.
09:42Thank you.
09:457th.
09:46Claire.
09:48Okay.
09:49Wionn Radio.
09:50Equipment surplus.
09:51And approve.
09:52Foundation to create county sheriff work.
09:55This year.
09:57I'm going for the first new radius.
10:01So for everybody else.
10:03They did that through funds.
10:05Our funds through all of them.
10:07And everybody.
10:09every place, fire, definitely, everybody has a right of right now.
10:15We've been using our Oakland Radio's, which is the state system for about 20 years.
10:22Like, that system came out.
10:24I don't know whether that was a little bit quiet,
10:26but it was going to be our building.
10:28Most of our radio's are day-to-back.
10:31Most of the state's still on that system.
10:33For auto-canning, there's a totally useful sound.
10:36So, Craig County still uses the Oakland system.
10:39So, we just want to provide them some of our circles where it is.
10:47There are no use to anybody in auto-canning,
10:49because we all went to endless systems,
10:53but we're just going to want you to have a better radio to our balance.
10:57Once we're fully operational, one of the best systems.
11:02I see, is that a fact that radio tower out there on the 90, 90-row?
11:07We did put it on the channel, I guess.
11:09The city owns that.
11:12We put the radio antenna, the horn, the fire iron,
11:16so the opening will all be any longer.
11:19Make a motion.
11:25We approve.
11:26Take it.
11:28Hi.
11:29Hi.
11:30Hi.
11:31Hi.
11:32Hi.
11:34Hey.
11:35It's the pair of 2014 Ford Explorer surplus
11:37and a pre-donation to the Senate.
11:39The police department and the town of the Senate.
11:41We do this.
11:42I want to go back.
11:43I want to go back.
11:44I want to go back.
11:45I want to go back.
11:46I want to go back.
11:47So, we did the parallel.
11:48Last year, we had to put about one.
11:50Then give it back.
11:51We had to go back.
11:52We had to go back.
11:53We had to go back.
11:54We had to go back.
11:55This car has been straight.
11:56I had to say the car on right and here.
12:00They're cheating back to quality for a light bar.
12:02And I said, a picture of us that have got one in a car much ground.
12:05It's a test of car.
12:07It takes a lot of time.
12:08But that's a car too.
12:09But what if your car's on your back?
12:12This is our dark car.
12:14On the TNM vehicle, we have to fill the guttings here for a whole K-Zone.
12:20So we don't have a car to make it a place car.
12:24And honestly, we're on the TNM every couple of years,
12:27and there's no people riding in it.
12:29I just thought of essence.
12:32And no one's far.
12:34So if we can go here and have a running.
12:38And if you can be used to an apartment, we...
12:41I'm sorry, I'll make a motion to a break.
12:43Wait a second.
12:45Hi.
12:46Hi.
12:47Hi.
12:48Hi.
12:49Hi.
12:50Hi.
12:51Hi.
12:52Hi.
12:55Hi.
12:56This guy's an assistant.
12:58He's going to come in handy on Shuttle Syrians doing this.
13:01So he can just use his assistant to a 2.5-hour nap axe.
13:04Darn you getting it in there from a six-fifth5 passenger.
13:07I add.
13:08He can place his assistant to a five-hour nap axe.
13:12So I just use a six-fifth5 passenger.
13:15I think around in the cooking field.
13:18Just pick up some extra stuff.
13:20And then I, we came together.
13:22On your head with your foot, and your hand, and forth.
13:25I still have one next.
13:27Now, if this was a high area of accidents, speedy complaints, track violations about an
13:37absolute sense, maybe I can't back up any other than, I guess, the one citizen's complaining.
13:43In either location, we ran number for a couple of years, and there are no statistical data that
13:52I actually know that people have lived at the corner of 7th and 8th on the west, and the stops on the east side
14:02in there yard, and I asked them what they thought about it, and they absolutely did not want to
14:06always stop there.
14:07So, they requested that we would not have been able to share that concern, and I told them
14:12what I was looking at.
14:13I was looking at us, but it was always true, you know.
14:19They should have gone back to the stats, I don't have any to go back.
14:23I was the one that got called on the, well, he called the sheriff, the sheriff called me off on me,
14:27it's 1100 in northwest.
14:29He was compliant because he's got a lot of kids running around that neighborhood, and he called me.
14:35And he's pups.
14:37Well, they all got a lot of kids in the neighborhood.
14:39I'm just telling them what they said.
14:41And there are several intersections that we know of what I'd like to have, but we're under control.
14:45I'm going to still pause and cover that.
14:47They're just so, such a scary insects, they're not a wild trap, and we just never had an issue.
15:00Good enough.
15:01Give me another question.
15:05Chief.
15:06Thank you.
15:07Chief.
15:0910.
15:10How the new business of any, which is the results of the posting of this agenda.
15:1511 staff reports.
15:1912 mayor council committee announcements.
15:23Right again.
15:28I know he's looking at too.
15:29Sure.
15:30Oh, Jennifer happy birthday.
15:32I mean, I'm sure you're going to talk about the last week he ran, right?
15:37That's pretty much all I have to talk about.
15:39He was a great time.
15:40Way to get time.
15:41I thought he went very well.
15:42I don't know what the numbers are.
15:43The interest is now how he did compared to the past years.
15:47I think they're pretty good.
15:49From my understanding, we haven't had to follow me.
15:52I think it's this week.
15:54Thursday.
15:55So we'll know a little more than that.
15:57But I'd say Sharon's back with us.
15:59Sharon had a little heat problem.
16:01And it's been a couple days in the hospital.
16:03So we're glad he's back from the healthy.
16:07Well, I don't know.
16:09It's back.
16:11I'm here.
16:12But it was a good event.
16:14Two of those to the city staff from pop the bottom.
16:17You got to do a great job.
16:19Your people did a great job.
16:21They pulled this off and made it happen.
16:23Excellent communication.
16:24It was just going around the green.
16:26Great.
16:27We just got to show up and have fun.
16:28It was in the middle of the rest.
16:30But our city staff is top and off.
16:32We appreciate each and every one of you for putting in your time.
16:35And I was hot.
16:37And there's a lot of people down there.
16:41We know we had a lot of former ward offs back and down.
16:46That we're really having a good time.
16:48And that we're really like and not only in the event.
16:51But with a community look like again,
16:53Kudos to your people for their work every day.
16:56We've paid off when these people came home.
16:58Okay.
16:59It's real impressive to see that come together because it starts.
17:02You know, weeks weeks in advance.
17:05Like a crew and a parks crew and all of them.
17:09I'm trying to make sure that the timing is just right.
17:12That they get everything done and looking really good for that weekend.
17:15And they do a great job.
17:17I'm dressed me.
17:18I'm driving around and looking and holding my time.
17:20I hope they get that corner.
17:21I hope they get that all out.
17:23They get it.
17:24And it does.
17:25They actually all think it's done.
17:26They've over the last three years.
17:28They've just got it the end of the science.
17:29And so it works great.
17:31Everything looked great.
17:32It couldn't have been well proud.
17:33The flipping of the stage worked beautifully.
17:35That was probably the biggest change.
17:37Maybe a little bit of concern we had.
17:38Do any of you just how's that going to work?
17:40Went great.
17:41I heard nothing like great.
17:42Everybody loved the stage or in the location.
17:44How do I have it?
17:45And now closer to the colon.
17:46It worked well for the VIP.
17:48We didn't have to have two of them.
17:50So it produced our cost.
17:52Certainly like that.
17:53It just worked well.
17:55Well, in the barbecue did great.
17:57Down there at the other end.
17:58The other end.
18:00Those guys, you know, Shannon had that thing, some organize, yeah, so we're gonna, you went there and it's still arranged.
18:07Those guys were so impressed with Shannon.
18:12They just went on and on and on.
18:14They love Shannon for sure.
18:16They were very concerned about you, and that they were gonna have the trophy just up.
18:20Well, they were gonna let us get out trophies.
18:22They did.
18:24Yeah, they were more concerned about you than the trophies in the body.
18:27They were.
18:28They were impressed, and that's great, because that means they'll be back.
18:33So it, that'll continue to be a successful event for us.
18:37But yeah, you know, the marketplace seemed to be, have more people participating in the past.
18:43So it seemed very full.
18:45I like that, I like that everything was on Main Street, and we didn't stick all the food trucks off on the side streets.
18:50And I thought that was better visibility, and I think it was better for them.
18:53I think that worked well.
18:55It took me up chicks up here.
18:57So the Center worked out well, and it was great.
18:59Activity appeared.
19:01Yeah.
19:02I've heard their numbers to see how they did it.
19:06Most of them are most all day Saturday, and there was people in the whole day.
19:10Okay.
19:11My wife was there three out.
19:14Just going through the steps.
19:19So there's lots to see.
19:21For the car show, by show, well.
19:25You know, and we're thinking of PD in our fire department.
19:29We didn't have a whole lot of issues with the need.
19:32We had people that I think we had to get cooled off and cooled down and hydrated.
19:36We had no serious incidents, health related incidents.
19:39And I don't think we had any disturbances.
19:43So people really behave themselves.
19:47We had to do the show.
19:49Other major coaches are in box and we had to be able to do a little bit of the changes.
19:55Yeah.
19:56How are you?
20:00How are you?
20:02How are you?
20:04Yeah.
20:05One health related incident.
20:08Other than that, great event.
20:10I can't say enough about staff.
20:12And everybody pulling together.
20:14Make it happen.
20:15Absolutely takes.
20:17And the thing about this event too is this, it's turned into rain and weekend.
20:25For not only miles out of regions there, but commerce.
20:29Even had a rain in there this year.
20:31And then those guys that had a rain in the last year enjoyed it so much.
20:34They came back this year.
20:36So because they want to see the classes before and after them.
20:40So it's starting to be where it's the weekend for everybody to come home.
20:44Which is kind of cool.
20:46You can see a lot of people we have seen a long time.
20:48I saw some people this year that I hadn't seen in 25 or 30 years.
20:53Yes.
20:54And so it's kind of cool.
20:56But they recognize you on Facebook.
20:58And...

I'll call it over to the regular scheduled meeting of my city council from Monday, August 7, 2020. Public input on schedule personal answers. We have nine. Three claims. What's your proof? Second. What do you say? Hi. So what? Hi. Williams. Hi. Son of a. Hi. Parker. Hi. Four minutes for the July 17th. Regger's scheduled meeting in July 24th. Regger's scheduled meeting for the State Special. No, that is a work session. Regger. Motion approved. Second. Second. Second. Hi. Each set of Williams. Hi. Son of a. Hi. Parker. Hi. Five budget amendment. Number 23-28. Fire using unbended CPR card revenue to reimburse for its own expense. The cost is, and the budget for a certain number of cards that they had more parts been anticipated for this is that you've read the report that you've built the list with. Outside organization contracts for fiscal year 23-294 for Miami senior senior, senior centers. Community crisis center, grain gateway to Pennsylvania, and Miami area, economic development at the Oregon Foundation. the senior center, community courses, and relevant, they use the same template for the contract. So the changes are the dates, and the financial statements calling instead of every time they ask for reimbursement, that also allows you to promote any of the such expressions such as those that came to you on time, ask for share of it. It is what we did last year impact the week in the city bank court. Did we approve all the amounts and these in budget time I think we had questions on some of these in That's what we had them come in and speak In present for the grand gateway for the Pelven primarily the one and then they're gonna come back again And then speak because they've got some Operational updates that they're excited about they're gonna come speak So we did do that last year we did a study session at this senior center and then last year. We taught study set Pelven was one way Pelven was the one we we weren't sure about just because they had a local office and then they had sold that local office, so we had them come in and explain What what they were doing why that it's so old and how they're continuing to operate and what their numbers were That was the last meeting the meeting before meeting the last one was our study session So I'll be honest. I didn't get much out of that meeting for the end of the day I don't think those did it would make me feel any better about it I would prefer to pull that one out. We'll prove the other three For me until they come back and we all get a chance to talk to them I was here and they talked Do we lump all these together normally that No last three your motion you can Well, now last year whenever we've had to see your citizens in or we talked about The amount of people that they served and it was just that it was just really a handful and Did you get anything out of it this time as far as it's it's it's they're serving any more people and then what they were I think whenever we whenever we were out here though, we've like in coping times and post-COVID They were still in regaining their numbers, but are one any numbers. Yeah, what any numbers close to that? I think they are, because they have a thing face, like if the same person comes to dinner to say, but it's what they said. Counting the number of times, they serve the public. Yeah. Did we, did they get a count on meals, did that, that increase? That's part. We can have dogs. Dogs are so different. Dogs are part of that. Mitten. It's like a man. Well, they were making meals there weren't they? Was that dogs are making the meals? Makes sense of they served. Yeah. That's part of the presentation. That's the same. That's the same. Well, actually we have dogs as one group. We have no pet present. We've had no mob in that group. We speak to the council, but not dogs. How does the contract with dogs work? Is that? So, Matt, you know, how many of us have 15, 16? The men's city manager and dogs lost their federal funding for rent. They were giving the senior center a thousand months. And that's also the presentation. Well, last year we talked about the kind of looking at that again this year on how much A.S. urban stuff and I think we talked about the meals as well. But, and then, you know, looking and seeing if we're going to subsidize the same or a little less and then kind of be on there. They're costs have gone up, which is primarily what they've been sharing with us. There needs to go up with their building, aging, things that nature. So I know that they had came to us and talked about that. But I don't think they presented necessarily a new number to the same one that's last year. Hello. Hello, your president. I'm not. So, um, am I hearing that we would like for some of these folks to come talk to us before we, okay, this? How long have we been subsidizing? I'm just subsidizing how we do something different with them. I actually have our building. The community crisis centers and fellow men, senior center, cours
