[00:00] 22, and one of the invocation by the director, or campus ministries, Mr. Steve Whitewell.
[00:08] I would always like to give just a little bit of a report.
[00:11] We have about 150 athletes who attend our fellow subacristen athletes,
[00:16] Bible studies each week and seven different teams.
[00:19] Meetings at night have a chapel before the football games,
[00:24] which we just completed, but I did all nine of those on the road in at home.
[00:29] We do chapel before our basketball games, and we'll be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner
[00:35] for our international students next week for our national athletes.
[00:38] We have 42 international athletes at NEO from 18 different countries.
[00:44] So, pray for us.
[00:49] Father, we thank you for this night.
[00:52] We thank you that we can come together as a community,
[00:56] Mayor Parker, manager Reese, and all of our council people,
[01:00] and all of our good city people that support us and take care of us every day.
[01:06] Father, help them make good decisions.
[01:09] Just bless our country, bless our election process tomorrow.
[01:13] God bless America and Jesus name. Amen.
[01:18] I want to say it's a miracle.
[01:24] And two of the Republicans will let you stand.
[01:27] One nation under the end of his will, with liberty and justice for all.
[01:32] Poor public in front of schedule personal appearances.
[01:40] Budget amendment.
[01:41] Mr. Mike.
[01:42] Adding.
[01:45] Thank you, Mayor.
[01:46] On the last council meeting we brought up a budget amendment to you for $65,000.
[01:52] The purchase of property.
[01:53] We did not take into account the closing cost.
[01:56] The closing cost are $1,000, $29.
[02:00] And $4 cents.
[02:01] We're asking to approve this budget amendment to finish the closing on the property that we agreed to purchase.
[02:08] When's that closing?
[02:13] Come on.
[02:24] Thank you, Mike.
[02:28] Good.
[02:29] I'm seven and eight.
[02:33] 279 Davis writes remain claim for pencil told jrd a.
[02:56] We're licensing and associated complaint proceedings and amount of to.
[03:00] $157.
[03:03] So Mayor and members of the Council in your packet, you should have a BA, which describes the details
[03:09] of this particular invoice for Davis-Rectour Main.
[03:12] These professional services and disbursements incurred from September 7th through September
[03:17] 30th.
[03:18] Primarily, I would tell you that this had to do with the current legal proceedings and preparation
[03:22] for the technical conference to review GRDA's updated study report.
[03:32] All the above, we had emails, email exchanges, and we actually had several briefings via
[03:40] teams that we got together and discussed not only strategy, but some of the reports,
[03:47] and they, like, have our guidance on some particular items, not how they proceed during
[03:52] the technical conference.
[03:53] So you'd say the majority of it was international or, like, a teleconference or, yeah, it's probably
[04:01] half an half, probably half phone calls an email and the other half is the meetings.
[04:06] Just curious, I was always thought about that, like, do we have a rate for email, rate
[04:13] for?
[04:14] Nope.
[04:15] We have an hourly rate.
[04:16] It's a build an hourly rate no matter.
[04:48] Yeah.
[04:50] 2023 meeting schedule.
[04:54] We have to have these done by a certain date for the period for the next year, so we discussed, maybe
[05:03] trying to move some of these, but to move them all to Tuesdays, but with Brian's new
[05:08] job, there's going to be difficult for him to make those, I think.
[05:12] Right.
[05:13] No, I don't think so.
[05:14] The only issue is the fact that he...
[05:16] Okay.
[05:17] Did we move those to six?
[05:19] It'll be okay.
[05:20] It's okay.
[05:21] It's okay.
[05:22] It's okay.
[05:24] So that's why they're still in my days with the occasional Tuesdays because of the holidays.
[05:41] But that won't start to the first year, correct?
[05:43] What you only got a couple left.
[05:47] Yeah.
[05:48] I don't have those unless we have to in November December, right?
[05:50] Motion to approve.
[05:54] Second.
[06:01] I love them, any new business, which is written to the posting of this agenda, 12 staff reports, 13 trusty community announcements, 14 adjournment.
